Every year, Walking Month starts with a simple question: <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>where are we needed most, right now?<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2026, the answer takes us to rural communities in Cluj County, where access to complementary education is often limited, and important life decisions are frequently made without enough information or support.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Walking Month 2026 is about turning community involvement into something that truly matters for children who need more than what a classroom alone can offer.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Move for education<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

With every Walking Month 2026 registration, we support <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>Educalise<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>an NGO whose work focuses on three main areas: education, healthcare, and social support for children and families in need.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Educalise goes straight to where help is needed most: rural communities across Cluj County.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Together, we aim to reduce the barriers created by distance and lack of resources, bringing <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>non-formal education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> closer to young people. This means practical, hands-on learning that helps them better navigate everyday challenges, now and in the long term.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    What do children learn in Educalise workshops?<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

    The programme complements the school curriculum with practical tools that are relevant in everyday life. The workshops cover six essential areas:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    • Health education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 building healthy habits and self-care<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Basic legal education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 understanding rights, responsibilities and informed decision-making<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Financial education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 money management and basic planning skills<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Non-formal education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 learning through play, collaboration and hands-on experiences<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Sex education<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 accurate information about personal development<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
    • Social and emotional development<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span> \u2013 self-confidence, empathy and effective communication<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The goal of these workshops is to create a safe and open environment for questions, dialogue and meaningful learning.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      In rural areas, distances are not just geographical. They can turn into gaps in access to information, support and opportunities.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

      Through Walking Month, we support Educalise\u2019s constant presence on the ground and turn our participation into concrete help: mentoring, guidance and practical tools that empower young people to build a more informed and confident path forward.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
